As I've said before, DARG enjoy operating special event stations, one of which is GB2CM situated at Coldstream Mill Near Gateside Beith in North Ayrshire, Land By Kind permission of Nancy and Gordon...Thanks!
Here is a run-down of the station for the last two Mills on the Air Weekends:
Blacks Icelandic Tent Situated near to the Mill
Radio: Icom IC-706mkII(G) and Trio TS-950 (100watt output)
Antenna: Full wave horizontal delta loop for 160m fed with 300 ohm ladder feeder, supported on alloy poles approx. 20 feet above the mill pond.
Computer Logging with YPLOG on an AMD K6-2 300 Laptop.
